Techniques for Characterization of complex carbohydrate

Three one week courses will be offered in the summer of 2010 at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC) of The University of Georgia:

Course 1 , Separation and Characterization of Glycoprotein and Glycolipid Oligosaccharides - Glycoprotein Course (Aug 2-6, 2010). Sample Schedule

Course 2 , Techniques for Characterization of Carbohydrate Structure of Polysaccharides - Polysaccharide Course (Aug 9-13, 2010). Sample Schedule

Course 3 , Analytical Techniques for Structural Analysis of Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). (Aug 16-18, 2010). Sample Schedule

The courses consist of hands-on laboratory work, lectures, and demonstrations. A laboratory manual incorporating selected analytical techniques andreferences will be provided. Also included are modules on mass spectrometry or NMR or computer modeling of glycoconjugates.
