Ad hoc Training
The CCRC trains undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral research associates, and visiting scientists from the U.S. and
around the world in the principles, methods, and analytical techniques used to study complex carbohydrates. Besides those students
and scientists who spend one or more years at the CCRC, short-term trainees are also welcomed to enroll in one or more of the four
one-week training courses the CCRC offers every summer for scientists in other academic, governmental, or industrial laboratories.
It is also possible for researchers to arrange to participate alongside CCRC personnel in the analysis of their samples. These varied
training opportunities are supported in part by fees to participants and grant funds from the Department of Energy and the National
Institutes of Health. To find out more about training opportunities at the CCRC, please select one of the topics listed above. We
