Research Interests

Design, synthesis and immunological assesment of vaccines, an area that combines the chemistry of lipids, carbohydrates and peptides as well as immunology.

Personal Information

I was born in Beni-Mazar, a small city in Upper Egypt, which is one of the oldest places in the world. The most famous cities in Upper Egypt are Luxor and Aswan, where with every footstep you can find historic sights and stories from the past.

Education

2005-present PhD student at the University of Queensland (UQ, Australia) and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR, Australia) under supervision of Prof. Istvan Toth (UQ), Prof. Michael F. Good (QIMR), and Dr. Michael R. Batzloff (QIMR).
